- 64% of voting-age citizens voted
- Non-hispanic Whites and Blacks had the highest level of voter turnout in 2008
- Citizens between ages of 18 to 24 were only age group to show a signficant in voter turnout in 2008 (up 2%)
- Citizens 45 to 64 saw there voting rates decrease in 2008 (down 1%)
- Citizens residing in Midwest were more likely to vote than any other region
