Inlanta Mortgage held its eighth annual sales conference Monday August 13th and Tuesday August 14th at the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, with over 100 employees in attendance.

This two day meeting brought both branch and corporate employees together to discuss and share best practices, department updates and corporate initiatives. The conference also hosted guest speaker Tammy Maddente, Vice President of First Weber Group, who gave a presentation on current real estate trends and changes and provided valuable insight into the industry directly from a Realtor perspective. The second day featured international speaker Matthew Ferrara who presented two sessions focusing on selling to the next generation of consumers and developing great growth strategies.

During the conference, Inlanta raffled off prizes donated by sponsors, with all proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County. Altogether, Inlanta employees donated over $2800. Inlanta Mortgage also contributed to the organization for a combined donation totaling $4000. The money will go towards Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County’s largest fundraising event, a wine tasting and silent auction on October 14th.

“This year’s conference was once again a huge success and the Harley Davidson Museum was a great venue,” CEO John Knowlton said. “It’s a great opportunity for our employees from around the country to get together and it gives them a chance to network and share what works in their respective markets. Having the meeting at the Harley Museum allows us to ‘show off’ Milwaukee to our guests from around the country. We are also extremely proud of what we were able to raise for Habitat for Humanity – which can be largely attributed to the generosity and kindness of our employees.”

Inlanta Mortgage Raises Funds for Habitat for Humanity

Inlanta Mortgage recently collected over $2300 in donations for Habitat for Humanity at its annual conference in Wisconsin Dells on Monday, August 16. Inlanta sponsored the dunk tank, while employees donated money to have the chance to dunk their fellow co-workers.

“We always try to make our conferences fun, and this year we decided to include a charitable element. The response was overwhelming! Our employees were more than willing to support Habitat for Humanity for an opportunity to soak their fellow co-workers,” said Chief Operating Officer, Jean Badciong.

Inlanta’s main purpose is to provide customers with “Loans for Your Dreams” and Habitat for Humanity follows similar philosophies, which made the decision to donate the funds to Habitat an easy one. Both organizations work to provide housing to families of the areas they serve, in their own way.

“Our goal as a company is to help families achieve the American dream by owning their own home,” said Inlanta Mortgage President, John Knowlton. “We are happy to contribute to an organization such as Habitat for Humanity who is committed to making that dream accessible to more and more families by building affordable housing around the world. Due to the success of this year’s dunk tank, we’ll be sure to include it in future conferences.”
